by ChiefTheGoblin
In the brutal depths of the Mud-Root Cavern, Grit is the absolute lowest rung of the goblin hierarchy—a sickly, abused runt destined for a short life. But Grit possesses a rare, pathological drive: boundless greed. When a merciless human strike force collapses the cavern to erase a royal scandal, Grit manages to survive and steal a rare, magical royal hair clasp. The artifact boosts his intelligence, lifting his mind out of its animalistic fog. Armed with newfound cunning and an insatiable desire to hoard the treasures, power, and females of the surface, Grit begins a cold, calculated climb to build a stronger, deadlier lineage.
