Door Pathway in Avatar the Last Airbender

Ian, died at the hands of a random robber with a gun, losing his life alone in a random alley. However, life did not end for him there, as he was reincarnated in a strange world of steam, machinery, and mystical powers leading to godhood and beyond; the Lord of the Mysteries universe. And yet, he soon looses his life to the uncountable dangers of this universe; where anyone without protection as the main character of a story could not survive long.  Death, once again claimed him with open arms. And once again, he somehow escaped, finding himself alive once again in the world of Avatar the Last Airbender.
