“The past doesn’t merely linger; sometimes, it stalks you from the shadows of your own mind.” Whilst reading through her old journals from three years prior, Oey is forced to re-examine a suffocating chapter of her life. Beneath a meticulously crafted veneer of professional altruism, her colleague, Palin, subjected Oey to a calculated web of **covert manipulation**. Through toxic **psychological push-and-pull** dynamics, Palin quietly isolated Oey, fracturing her relationship with another close friend, Darin, and severing them from the medical clinic without a formal goodbye.Yet, as Oey immerses herself in these unsettling memories, her reality fractures further. She unearths a 200-year-old *Samut Khoi*—an ancient Thai manuscript containing lost medical secrets—guarded by *Phlai*, an enigmatic, weathered old elephant who appears out of nowhere at exactly three o'clock in the afternoon. With the texts hidden securely in her bedroom, a chilling isolation deepens. No one else can see *Phlai*. No one else hears the laboured, rasping breath outside her window. Is *Phlai* a tangible manifestation of a century-old destiny, or a sophisticated illusion born of a fractured subconscious? As past-life trauma collides with modern malice, Oey must face an unsettling truth: some ciphers are written in ink, but the most dangerous ones are hidden deep within the human psyche. Graphite.
