After a very short development period, RoadRun's TRaFFiC artificial intelligence tool was so promising that the Government required it should be downloaded to every vehicle sat-nat in the country - it saved £5 billion in costs to the economy a week by preventing traffic jams and accidents.
TRaFFiC 2.0 promised even more. It could predict driver's behaviour within 90 seconds of them taking the wheel, sending out alerts about poor and dangerous driving.
RoadRun's CEO claimed: "Traffic is a lack of flow; but TRaFFiC can ease the flow."
Last December, the country discovered that TRaFFiC came with an appalling cost.
