Aaron Redman thought joining the TCC would finally give his life purpose. Instead, it turned him into something terrifying. In a world overrun by monsters known as abominations, the TCC exists to hunt anything that threatens humanity. Demons, fallen, and creatures beyond comprehension are killed daily by people gifted with supernatural abilities known as kuat anima. Aaron was supposed to be normal. But during his first real battle, his blood begins to boil. Literally. As his unstable power grows stronger, Aaron finds himself dragged deeper into a hidden world filled with corruption, evolving monsters, secret experiments, and terrifying truths about his own existence. After being kidnapped by a mysterious race known as the Magdalas, he discovers the impossible: He was never fully human to begin with. Now hunted by both monsters and the very people meant to protect humanity, Aaron struggles to keep control of both his power and his mind as the line between human and abomination slowly begins to disappear. In a world where no side is truly good, survival may require Aaron to become something far worse than the monsters he was raised to fear.
