The world ended without warning. In a single moment, humanity is torn from Earth and thrust into a brutal trial governed by an incomprehensible System. Given classes, levels, and skills, survivors must learn to fight or perish against monsters that have no place in the modern world. Ethan enters the Wild Hunt as nothing more than an ordinary warrior. Armed with little more than determination and a handful of newfound allies, he must battle for every level, every skill, and every chance to survive. But as the days pass, he begins to realize that the greatest dangers may not be the monsters hunting humanity. Something is wrong. Ancient secrets stir beneath the surface of the System, unseen forces move beyond its control, and the truths hidden within the Wild Hunt threaten everything humanity believes about its new reality. When the tutorial reaches its climax, everything changes. The Wild Hunt was designed to prepare humanity for what came next. Instead, an event no one believed possible shatters the tutorial before its purpose can be fulfilled, thrusting humanity into a future it was never ready to face. For Ethan, survival is only the first step. The road ahead will demand impossible choices, test the limits of his humanity, and set him on a path written in blood. Because some legends aren't born. They're reaped. What to expect: A standard LitRPG-style story. This is definitely my alpha copy, so I'm not sure where the story is going. I have ideas, but where they fit in the story is to be determined. If you notice any lore-breaking inconsistencies, let me know!
