The New War Gods: Sellers of Discord.

The New War Gods is a novel set in an alternate world, that is very similar to our own 21st Earth. With technology being advanced, from robotics to biotechnology. But this is not a harmonious world. As nations across the globe experience multi-crises, including climate changes, automation joblessness, pandemics, and increased global tensions expected from a post-global-order world.  But life carries on regardless for most people, like for a defense analyst living comfortably. That is, until an old friend pulls her into an investigation to uncover a conspiracy involving the global defense industry. A conspiracy that is far larger than expected, and far weirder than anyone could believe. After all, before money and politicians were worshipped, people used to worship the old gods. Gods who may be forgotten by most people, but not by all.   Amongst those old gods worshipped, there are the deities of war. Old gods of war, most of whom are now obsolete.   In this new age of warfare, war is no longer fought with spears, but with missiles, no longer waged by valiant warriors, but by soulless war machines. In this age there is little use for the old ways.  So, to not fall into obsolescence, the old martial gods must adapt to this new age. And new war gods must be born.
