Curiosity drove Rehar to the Shadow Wing. Hidden behind a locked door and mentioned only in whispers, it was exactly the sort of mystery Rehar had never been good at leaving alone. What she found there would change the course of her life, and possibly the world, forever. The sensible thing would have been to turn around and walk away. Rehar had never been especially good at sensible. The Shadow Wing was supposed to satisfy her curiosity. Instead, it gave her a way out. Assuming it does not get her killed first.
