On New Year’s Eve in the year 2100, Istanbul shines beneath neon skies, holograms, and towering cybernetic architecture a city that conquered technology but lost its humanity. Beneath the ancient shadow of Galata Tower, nine-year-old Elif struggles to survive by selling cigarettes and lighters to crowds too distracted to notice her existence. After being cast out into the freezing night by her bitter, augmented father, Elif wanders through the cold streets alone. With only a small lighter to keep her warm, she begins experiencing strange visions of comfort, memory, and the mother she thought she had lost forever. Istanbul 2100 is a melancholic cyberpunk tragedy about loneliness, prejudice, technological decay, and the fragile flame of the human soul in a world that no longer values warmth.
