Drake made one catastrophic mistake, and now his uncle is dying from a demon born venom no healer can cure. The only antidote is a flower hunted to extinction but is said to bloom within the legendary Garden of the Gods. To save the man who raised him, Drake must cross monster infested wilds, survive kingdoms descending into war, and uncover the secrets of Johnathan Maelstrom, the Mad Father of Written Magic. Along the way, he is guided by the echoes of an ancient mentor and haunted by a devil that feeds on his fears, failures, and darkest desires. But the deeper Drake digs into Maelstrom's legacy, the more he uncovers a growing corruption tied to the very foundations of the world. If he fails, his uncle dies. If he succeeds, he may awaken something far worse. WHAT TO EXPECT: * A mentor spirit and a devil constantly fighting for influence over Drake. * Survival against monsters, demons, and corrupted magic. * Character-focused progression and hard-earned growth. * Deep mysteries surrounding Written Magic and cursed bloodlines. * Dual Pov between Drake and Jade.

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
