Branded

In a world where gods feed on the devotion of their followers. Where a once eternal war has faded into an age of peace, prosperity and a single theocratic power ruling over the realm. A small ember still burns. An ember of corruption, intrigue and factions who've been around long before the eternal wars took place. And still will long after this story is overBranded is a novel about a boy raised inside a theocratic city where every citizen is shaped by doctrine, ritual, and the promise of a divine mark that will define their place in the world. Through childhood stories of Alba’s light and the harsh reality of initiation into the Church’s system, he begins to confront the uneasy distance between faith as it is told, and faith as it is lived.
