The story begins not in the snow, but in the dusty, quiet west wing of North High School. Haruki Saito, the school’s star track athlete, is drawn away from his usual routine by a lonely, haunting piano melody drifting from the third-floor window. Following the sound, he discovers Miyu Nakamura, a painfully shy girl who uses the piano as her only voice to escape her oppressive home life.
