Primordial Abyss

In the age before cultivation, mortals were never meant to rise. They were created to serve. To obey. To die. But mankind was never content with the fate handed to them. They looked up at the heavens… and refused. After centuries of defiance, after blood spilled in amounts that stained the earth itself, heaven finally answered. Not with destruction. With a path. The Heavenly Bestowal Steps. Through it, any soul with the will to move forward could awaken the constellation written into their very being—and from there, transcend mortality itself. Rise beyond flesh. Beyond death. Beyond the limits of heaven and earth. But the path to immortality was never meant to be kind. Born in a forgotten village at the edge of the world, Sylas grows beneath the guidance of a mysterious old man whose methods seem far removed from ordinary cultivation. While others dream of glory, power, and becoming immortals, Sylas is forced into relentless discipline that slowly reshapes both his body and mind in ways he cannot yet understand. And as the years pass, the distance between him and ordinary people begins to grow. Yet beneath his quiet life lies something far deeper than talent. A truth buried beneath blood, silence, betrayal… and a past that was never truly meant to be uncovered. As the world of cultivators slowly opens before him, Sylas steps into a realm ruled by ancient powers, merciless hierarchies, and ambition without limit—where monsters wear human faces, geniuses are crushed before they can bloom, and weakness is treated as an unforgivable sin. But this world was never going to shape Sylas quietly. It was going to forge him. And somewhere beyond the highest heavens, beyond the reach of even the oldest immortals— Something is watching. Waiting. Because some paths do not lead merely to immortality. Some paths lead to something the heavens themselves were never prepared for.
