Miss Fortune

Ezra Santos has everything most people would envy: money, freedom, friends, and a life with almost no responsibilities. But none of it gives him purpose and that's exactly the problem. When he visits Miss Fortune, a mysterious fortune-teller who only reads people with a true desire, she cannot read him. Not because Ezra wants nothing, but because nothing he wants feels true enough. After Ezra refuses a fortune, his comfortable life begins to crack. Memories shift. People act strangely. Places vanish. Broken radios speak. The world he thought was ordinary starts revealing itself as something carefully arranged. Miss Fortune is not human. A supernatural entity that was always meant to interact with him. And Ezra’s search for purpose may be exactly what makes him dangerous.
