Ascent of the Darkstar

The Multiverse is not just a seemingly endless expanse of space, it is an ancient artifact. One that roams the cosmos and swallows new worlds. James is quite unaware of that fact until the multiverse comes and swallows Earth. He is teleported into a trial, and his starting location just so happens to be the highest difficulty there is. Totally not like it was designed to be that way or anything.  But that is only the beginning. From there, the real trial begins. A chaotic mess of factions all striving to acquire a single item capable of making one of them the ruler of the trial. James and many other humans from Earth are caught in the middle of the strife. Will he be able to survive, and maybe even, claim that item for himself? No AI was used in the making of this book.
