by Kateru. Ken
Kentro (the banished five-year-old child) wakes up alone in an abandoned cabin deep inside the Dark Forest. He makes a decision: he will survive, no matter the cost. He ventures into the forest searching for food, but encounters vicious rabbit-like monsters. They attack him, tearing his body apart. He nearly dies. Suddenly, a terrifying roar echoes from deep within the forest. The monsters flee in fear. Kentro seizes the chance and escapes back to his cabin, where he collapses from pain and exhaustion. The next morning, he wakes up to find that his wounds have completely disappeared — as if nothing ever happened. He doesn't understand why, but he forces himself to ignore it. Years pass… Kentro learns how to hunt, hide, and fight. His body becomes covered in scars. His eyes grow colder. Five full years pass inside the forest. He discovers a strange ability: every wound he suffers vanishes after a deep sleep. Doubt begins creeping into his heart. Meanwhile, in the human world, the Church secretly plots to exploit the banishment of the demon heir. The chapter ends with a terrifying question Kentro asks himself: "What am I becoming?"

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
