In a world where people can fall asleep and never wake up again, the Department of Somnus Syndrome Research (DSSR) enters the dreams of the comatose to rescue those trapped within. Recruited into the DSSR despite his lack of natural Dreamwalking aptitude, Alden Somnus undergoes an illegal Dreamwalker initiation overseen by the very organization founded by his now disgraced father, Professor Rex Somnus. He quickly finds himself partnered with the emotionally distant Maria Lumen, and must navigate unstable Dreamscapes shaped by human emotion, an organization rotting beneath layers of secrecy and control, and Mannikings — mysterious entities born from sleeping minds. As Alden falls deeper into this rabbit hole, one question continues to haunt him: What was his father really trying to do?

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
