In a futuristic world supported by a mystical being named Index, there is a man — The devil itself, the most cruel and pragmatic being imaginable. Under multiple circumstances and variables, this devil ends up surrounded by enemies and dies after a heaven-defying attempt to ascend. But death was not the end for this demon in human skin — After his death, he had the opportunity to gain the help of a goddess and come back to life in a new body in a world way superior to his original one. But he would later on be surprised to know that fate still had plans for him. This man — This demon was chosen by fate to become the greatest hero in all of creation, having the duty to stop the 4th Great Celestial War despite being a mere human not capable of using magic. Now, the most evil being in the 21th century comes back to life as the biggest symbol of hope in all of creation — What could possibly go wrong?
