Chasing your affection

The hero was supposed to defeat the demon lord. Instead, they both got turned into house pets. Cursed mid-battle by an unknown enemy, the two are thrown into another world—one reborn as a dog, the other as a cat. Taken in by an unsuspecting animal lover, they soon discover the only way to break the curse: make him fall in love with either of them. Now forced into a ridiculous competition for affection, former enemies must navigate their new lives, growing powers, and feelings that were never part of the plan. But as a hidden threat begins hunting them across worlds, their strange new life may not last forever… And when the curse finally breaks— only one of them might win his heart. Question is who will it be?
