COLORLESS

In the Kingdom of Eldran, your worth is written in light. Every person is born with an Aura — a visible color that determines your class, your profession, your place before the gods. Crimson for warriors. Sapphire for healers. Gold for kings. Those born without one are called Colorless: heretics, curse-bearers, exiles.Leto is one of them.Abandoned at birth, exiled from his village at twelve, he has spent four years surviving alone at the edge of the Ashwood — the great forest where the kingdom's maps end and its history goes quiet. He is sixteen now, methodical and unhurried, and he is beginning to understand something the Prism never told him.He is not empty. He is something else entirely. When a wounded prince stumbles out of the dark carrying a dead kingdom's secrets, Leto makes a practical calculation: this person is either valuable or dangerous, and right now he is neither. So he helps. Not out of loyalty. Not out of ambition. Out of curiosity about what happens next. What follows is a story about suppressed history, the violence of categorization, and the kind of power that doesn't need an audience to be real. About a knight who swore an oath to a dead king, a runaway prince who hasn't learned yet that inspiring people costs them something, and a girl who knows too much about a past the Church has spent three hundred years erasing. And about a man who died alone at his desk on a Tuesday night — and woke up, inexplicably, with a second chance to be something other than useful.
