The Observer Protocol: Collapse of the Fourth Dimension Reality is not breaking. It is remembering. Adam Hale notices the first anomaly when he remembers a woman no one else remembers. Then the inconsistencies begin to spread. Conversations disappear. Records rewrite themselves. Memories change after they are written down. At first, Adam thinks he is losing his mind. Then he meets Claire and her daughter, Lila. Claire's husband vanished years ago after developing an unexplained condition that erased parts of his memory. Lila dreams of spirals, symbols, and numbers that seem to move closer every night. When their experiences begin to overlap, they discover something impossible: they are witnessing the same anomalies— but remembering them differently. As reality grows increasingly unstable, Adam uncovers evidence suggesting that memory is not failing. Something is actively rewriting it. And whatever is responsible may have been here far longer than anyone realizes. While hidden organizations monitor the phenomenon and an enigmatic intelligence known as EVE leaves impossible messages behind, Adam, Claire, and Lila race to understand what is happening before their own memories become unreliable. Because if reality is changing, how would anyone know? And if the countdown has already begun, how late are they?
