The Shattered Bridge

With the aid of witch Aruna Leganta, the immortal Vikan Sikante buried his past as the paragon of the Lightblades and became the avenger of Elderbrook, protecting his town against the supernatural and the growing conflicts between the local factions.  His old enemy, a Bridged named Vanis, seeks to restore the shattered bridge, a portal leading to another world. But only one person can fulfill his dreams — Aruna Leganta — Vikan’s best friend, and the one person he would do anything to save.
