An Unremarkable Story

Venstria was an unremarkable town. Then the world arrived at its gates. On the eve of his passage into manhood Bran is expected to inherit a life already chosen for him: the axe. But in the back-alleys of Venstria, filled with soldiers, gamblers, and thieves, Bran hesitates when faced with the future laid before him. For the first time in his life, he begins to wonder if he could become remarkable.
