Leo, a repair apprentice from Gray Iron Town, had his fate changed forever one dusk when a severely wounded Radiant forced a mysterious Aether crystal shard into his body. The moment the shard merged with him, his destiny was rewritten. He awakened both the Goldedge and Windweave systems, becoming the coveted “Primordial Key” sought by countless factions. To uncover the truth, Leo traveled to Dawngleam to take part in the Radiant assessment. There, he met Ella, the gentle healer; Karen, the bold shield warrior; Locke, the defiant flame wielder; and Lina, the cold puppeteer. The five went from strangers to comrades who entrusted their lives to one another. Through assessments and missions, they forged their teamwork, eventually forming the “Radiant Squad” through Heart Oath resonance. As their investigation deepened, they discovered that the forbidden-zone crystal smuggling chain in Dawngleam’s underground Black Market pointed directly to Samuel, one of the Eight Directional Executors of the Aether General Assembly and the master of the Mechanism Pavilion. This high-ranking figure, outwardly refined and gentle, was in truth the mastermind behind the Shadow Luo League. In secret, he conducted illegal human experiments and gathered the eight Primordial Source Crystals, intending to open the “Primordial Gate” deep within the Ibero Forbidden Zone, release the Calamity Core, and seize the power to become a god. From the underground laboratory of Gray Iron Town to the deep-sea ruins of Meridano, from the sealed-vein clan of Calvian to the active volcanoes of Lugolais, Leo’s team crossed the seven continents and continued to break through their limits in one life-and-death battle after another. They thwarted the Shadow Luo League’s schemes, obtained multiple Primordial Source Crystals, uncovered Leo’s identity as the last bloodline of the Primordial Goldedge clan, and witnessed the threat of the even greater forces behind Samuel: the Primordial Society and the Aether Council. In the end, at the Gate of Despair in the Ibero Forbidden Zone, the team fought their final battle against Samuel. Through unity of heart and Aether, and through the resonance of his companions’ convictions, Leo forcibly sealed the Primordial Gate and defeated Samuel. Yet peace was only temporary. The seal on the Calamity Core began to loosen, and new enemies, the Aether Council and the Calamity King, emerged one after another.
