Synopsis Milo Varner just wanted to save game night. His regular group had bailed, yet somehow, Four strangers showed up. The custom mandala battle map he brought — the Console Rose — looked far too good not to use. Rules-light. Story-heavy. No experience required. Reality optional. Then the dice hit the table, the Rose opened, and five college students fell straight through the floor of reality. They awaken not in a fantasy kingdom, but in the Reality Stack — the ancient infrastructure layer where entire worlds run as containerized instances. Prophecy caches serve live civilizations. Archived timelines sleep in cold storage. And the maintenance systems have been waiting for authorized personnel who stopped answering millennia ago. The emergency protocol didn’t care that they were unqualified. Caleb Smith, networking student and compulsive documenter, can provision real objects from the Stack — but every creation opens a cost center with hidden downstream consequences. Milo Varner, the chaotic DM, becomes an alchemist whose transformations are brilliant, beautiful, and dangerously unstable. Sera Vale, literature major and theatre kid, can read and shape names, oaths, roles, and narrative pressure — but her words can trap people inside the stories she tells. Ariel Ward, rigid ROTC cadet, gains Warden magic that lets her draw and enforce boundaries against impossible threats — if she can learn that some lines are meant to be crossed. Nora Keene, exhausted RN returning for her ARNP, becomes a Mender capable of restoring bodies, systems, and fractured reality — but she must learn when healing means stepping back and letting people grow on their own. Their reluctant guide is Vhasilithess, an ancient ice dragon who is the living cooling system for Row G-17. Caleb immediately starts calling him “Facilities.” Vhasilithess is not amused. A corrupted prophecy cache is bleeding across realities. Omens contradict. Saints duplicate. Death records route through weather systems. And something ancient in a quarantined mythology has noticed the breach… and placed one hand against the glass. They were not chosen by destiny. They are the nearest warm bodies with root access. And the Stack is watching to see what kind of administrators they will become.
