Black Halo Synopsis In the Holy Empire of Elarion, halos are seen as the proof of God’s blessing. A golden halo marks a saint. A white halo marks the faithful. But a black halo… is the sign of a cursed existence feared by heaven itself. Aeron Vale was once the youngest saint in the empire’s history — loved by the people, worshipped by the church, and known as the “Light of God.” Until the night his family was slaughtered. Branded a traitor and condemned by the very empire he devoted his life to protecting, Aeron is sentenced to public execution beneath the Grand Cathedral. But as the holy blade pierces his heart, something forbidden awakens within him. His golden halo shatters. And in its place… a Black Halo appears. Hunted by the church, haunted by voices only he can hear, and slowly losing himself to a power that should not exist, Aeron is forced to uncover the truth buried beneath the empire’s faith. But the deeper he falls into darkness, the more he realizes one terrifying truth: The Black Halo was never a curse. And heaven may have been lying all along. Meanwhile, a feared imperial executioner begins to take an unsettling interest in him — a man who should have killed Aeron without hesitation, yet now watches him with dangerous obsession. As the empire descends into chaos, Aeron must decide: Will he become the monster they fear… —or the ruin of the gods themselves?
