After major developments in technology, mankind decides to halt innovation and live a life of comfort. However the engineer of the universe, known as “God”, whom loved humanity for their stride for innovation, sends natural disasters and plagues to punish humanity and make himself the common enemy so humans can develop with the goal of revenge in mind. This immense sense of purpose grants some, ready to sacrifice anything for their personal goals, supernatural powers to assist themselves in doing so.
