Saeki, a future lord of a domain runs from home after his father squashed everything that had kept him sane. But running from your problems is not a reliable strategy. For years he spent traveling unknown roads, fighting gruesome monsters and making backroom deals with shady traders. All the while being accompanied by his trusted friends Aldric and Amy. Aldric the trusted street smart, that analyses you down to your soul and Amy, a girl that flips between fun adoptive sister to evil monarch in seconds. So they set out to find adventure, grasping at straws to become powerful until they can eventually stop running from their problems. Will they fall and burn in their search for stronger magic and sharper swords, Will they manage to convince the warring nations to aid them in overthrowing his fathers rule Or will they Emerge victorious and become the world's strongest? Who knows but what is certain is that the road to success is long and littered with those who lost themselves along the way. What to expect: -Character-driven story -Found family dynamic -A romance subplot (not a slow burn where nothing ever happens) -A world filled with dangerous monsters
