Eukratides is a Captain of the Alan Guard, an elite military unite of the High Kingdom of India, tasked by High King Menandros II with finding a mysterious child in the frontier province of Alania and bringing him back to the capital of Alexandria Baktriana. Along his journey he will explore his identity, question his philosophy, and meet diverse characters. The novel is an experiment entirely written in the Euro English variety of English, based upon the lingua franca of the European Union, therefore many "oddities" (such as vocabulary, meanings of certain words, syntax, grammar, and prosody) to native English speakers are present. The cover image was made using Gemini.
