Frankenhurtz Syndrome 2097. The world is overcrowded, desperate, and dying. A new virus is spreading through the population and nobody knows what it is. Doctors misdiagnose it. Patients go home thinking they are fine. By the time the truth becomes clear it is already too late. The virus is airborne, unstoppable, and 100% fatal — tearing through its victims in four devastating phases, destroying the body, then the heart, then the mind, before finally delivering death. There is no cure. There are no survivors. There is only the body count, rising every day. Doctor. Haze is a veteran doctor who has seen enough to know that what he is looking at is something the world has never faced before. Calm, methodical, and relentless, he refuses to accept that there are no answers — only answers nobody has found yet. He recruits Jack Brooke, a quiet and exceptionally gifted student pulled from a school already being shut down by the outbreak. Jack wants to be a doctor. This was not how he imagined it starting. Together they build case files, track death patterns, document every victim, and chase theories through a city gripped by fear. Thirteen patients. Twelve dead. The evidence is overwhelming and the clock never stops. Then there is Mina. Fifteen years old. Patient zero. Admitted a year ago with a headache and sent home with tablets, Mina was the first case nobody recognised. She spent 365 days in a coma while the virus she carried unknowingly swept through the population — including her own mother, patient 4, who did not survive. Now Mina is awake, alone, grieving, and still symptomatic. Her heart keeps stopping. The seizures will not end. She is seeing things that are not there. Everything that kills everyone else is happening to her — and she will not die. Nobody knows why. Some say the coma saved her. But Frankenhurtz Syndrome is still inside her, and it could still finish what it started. For Doctor Haze and Jack, Mina is the only clue the world has ever had. For Mina, waking up was only the beginning of her nightmare. The truth is buried somewhere in the data, the death patterns, and the blood. They just have to find it before the virus finds them first.
