In the kingdom of Enora, ten-year-old Joren Whitfield's life is destroyed in one night of blood and fire. Betrayed by the king's own guards, his family is murdered and his home reduced to ashes-leaving him with nothing but pain, rage, and a vow for vengeance. Escaping captivity, Joren is thrown into a world of bandits, warlords, forgotten gods, and ancient power. Each battle hardens him. Each scar reshapes him. And when the boy no one noticed rises to unite the Great Houses of the North, East, and South, a storm powerful enough to shatter empires begins to form. But vengeance does not end with a single war. After the massacre known as The Crimson Requiem, Enora lies in ruin
