The Plague Monster

The story follows Elliot, a young man who, in the midst of a trek with his sister Mia and her boyfriend Nick, gets himself forcefully separated and pulled into the middle of nowhere with hardly a warning as a consequence of the more than questionable machinations of an uncaring alien system, which has been planning to integrate our universe into its fold on this very day for quite a long time. Forced to survive among unnatural monsters within the suddenly endless wilderness, Elliot resorts to desperate measures bordering on madness just to amass enough stats, survive, and hopefully stay ahead of the power curve among ever more powerful monsters.  Maybe even developing a few unsavory but powerful skills in the process of someday finding his way back to civilization should his unpredictable luck allow it. Around 2500 words a chapter with three chapters a week. (Reaches 3000 words somewhat often.) Planned Dungeon-core type kingdom building via Prototype & Dead Space inspired abilities.
