When the light betrays us

When the light betrays us

📖 SYNOPSIS The world of Solara was built on light. Towering photon cities illuminated the night. Artificial suns burned above the oceans. Humanity believed illumination was civilization itself. Then Lumos was discovered beneath the frozen continent of Cryothea. What began as a scientific breakthrough became the collapse of mankind. Now the light hunts humanity. Across the drowned ruins of Vaelmere, twenty-year-old Lucious “Luke” and a small group of survivors wander through a civilization devoured by its own brilliance. The infected gather beneath photon towers, emergency beacons become death traps, and every illuminated street may hide something no longer human. In a world where darkness has become the only refuge, survival itself begins to change people. And somewhere beneath Solara’s dying glow, an ancient truth waits in the dark. The light did not save humanity. It betrayed them. ⸻
