A secluded village is bound together by a strange and unsettling belief: the Seven Sins are not mere human flaws, but reflections of an ancient event involving a forgotten figure known as the Black Angel. According to local myth, each sin originates from a wound in his story—fragments of a being who may have been divine, misunderstood, or entirely imagined. Pride becomes the loss of light after seeking absolute truth. Greed transforms into an inner fear of emptiness rather than desire for wealth. Envy stems from the haunting idea of being replaced or erased from existence. At the center of the village stands a broken statue of the Black Angel, an object of reverence and unease. No one agrees on how it truly looks; some claim its face shifts, others swear it changes depending on who is watching. Yet nothing openly supernatural ever occurs—only subtle distortions in memory, perception, and trust. As generations pass, the stories fracture further. The truth about the Black Angel remains unknown: a divine being, a victim, or a collective invention designed to justify human behavior. In this village, sin is not punishment—it is inheritance.
