Before kings, there were gods. Before gods, there was the Silent Chord – and the first crack in reality that became Arkan. Born as the Keystone, a two‑thirds divine anchor meant to tether humanity to divine will, Arkan refuses his purpose. He builds the first walled city, Uraza, and declares himself sovereign over all that exists. From his extradimensional Vault of Origins, he rains down the prototypes of every weapon ever forged. His word is law. His arrogance is absolute. But the Elder Gods will not tolerate a mortal king. They create Temur – a being of clay and starlight, designed to be Arkan's equal and his end. Temur does not attack. He asks a question that shatters the king's certainties: "Why do you hoard everything?" What follows is a mythic journey across a fractured world – through the Forest of Regret, the Desert of Empty Hands, and the cave of a primordial snake. Arkan will lose his only friend. He will chase immortality. And he will learn that a king's true treasure is not what he owns, but what outlasts him. The First Crown is a tragic, triumphant progression fantasy for readers who love powerful anti‑heroes, kingdom building, and endings that matter.
