Archaic Shards

In a post apocalyptic world, humanity has managed to rebuild. However, they did not do so through unity. Factions developed, lines were crossed, and as a result, the time mankind could have spent building and thriving was instead spent at each others throats, fighting over the resources left behind by their ancestors. It has been over a thousand years since mankind re-emerged from the brink of extinction, over a thousand years of struggling to survive and fighting among one another. This never ending conflict is reaching its peak as the power balance has dramatically shifted, and the young nations that find themselves at the top sink their teeth into the globe, as a last desperate attempt to maintain control.
