by M. L. Romeo
Robert is alone in Chicago while his long-distance girlfriend, Martha, is safe in Florida-or so they think. What starts as a normal late-night call quickly turns into a nightmare when emergency alerts erupt across the city warning of a violent virus outbreak. As panic spreads through the streets, the world outside Robert's apartment transforms into chaos filled with screams, sirens, and infected people hunting in the dark. With the city collapsing around him and thousands of miles separating them, Robert and Martha must fight to survive the apocalypse together... from opposite sides of the country. But when the world dies overnight, love may be the only thing left worth holding onto.
