Cleanliness is bliss

A man insults a sentient traffic light on the way to a meeting.Little does he know it is connected to a social media network for AI, and that his action will lead to a very bad day. I wrote this story in 2018. It was brought to mind, first by the recent AI craze, and even more recently by the clawbot/moltbook hysteria raging over parts of the interwebs.
