by Comrade Commie Maxim Fernando
In the quiet, cookie-cutter neighborhood of Oakhaven, 16year-old Leo Rodriguez is an expert at "professional-grade escapism". His life is peaceful until his neighbor, Sasha Sokolova—a striking girl with short black hair drops a three-word bombshell: "I love you". But there’s a catch. Sasha isn't just a "normal" Russian immigrant; she’s a hardcore communist who started reading the Manifesto at age seven. Now, Leo has to navigate a relationship with a girl who carries him up stairs for "daily heavy-lifting drills" while hiding the fact that he’s a secret day-trader. Between a Spetsnaz-veteran father and a KGB-uniform-wearing grandfather, Leo is about to find out that love in the time of ideological chaos is going to be an Anarchy of chaos
