Killing the Mercy

The Commonwealth accepts no mistakes, only results. In the midst of a campaign of extermination against a peculiar indigenous race resigned to a fate dictated by the heavens, a high-ranking officer begins to hear the voices that the iron of his mask used to silence. Killing the Mercy is a stark tale about the weight of heritage, the dehumanization of war, and that precise moment when a soldier decides he has no more chains to break, even if the price is hell itself.
