A Continuous Dream

What do we all seek after a long day? Some may say wealth, others comfort… perhaps the embrace of a lover or the warmth of laughter among friends. Yet when everything is stripped away, there is one thing every living being longs for: Rest. To lie upon a soft bed, wrap ourselves in warmth, close our eyes, and surrender to the tranquility of sleep, hoping for blissful dreams to carry us away from the cruelty of reality. But what if sleep was the crueler reality? What if every time your eyes closed, you were dragged into another world? A world not of wonder, but of nightmares. A place where monsters hunt you endlessly and even rest itself becomes impossible. At first, it may sound like fantasy. Another world? An adventure? The dream of every reader. But think deeper. If you spend the day surviving one harsh world, only to spend the night surviving another… then when do you truly rest? When do you heal? When do you live? Such is the fate of Prince Idel . A frail, exhausted royal who wanders the Dream Realm every night for eternity. In one world, he is misunderstood. In the other, he is hated.
