Lorendeium - a land blessed by Stars, cursed by realities. Starlight graces the continent, its people using it to weave magic or fuel marvelous machinery. Yet, it is also beset by anomalous beings, objects, and phenomena that scourge Lorendeium. Most prominent are storms called klasmics, raining down ghastly landscapes, monsters, crystallized Starlight, precious artifacts, and people from other worlds - Wanderers. Nana is but one of many Wanderers, so she considers herself normal otherwise. To learn her connection with a weapon and find her purpose in this world, she becomes a stormchaser: those who brave klasmics for knowledge, riches, and glory. She is joined by Cael, a runaway noble that loves technologies fueled by Starlight, and Michael, an older Wanderer, a hero of a complicated conflict, now serving as Nana's mentor. Together, they are Four Torches, facing triumph, despair, conspiracies, and destinies.
