The Beginning

Kael Mercer, a homeless seventeen-year-old in New York, finally lands a night shift job at a rundown warehouse. It’s the first stable job he’s had in years, and it might be the only chance he has to stay off the streets. But while Kael tries to hold on to a normal life, something strange is spreading beneath the city through abandoned tunnels and sealed infrastructure. And his new job is right above it.
