The Lamb Queen

Nine necklaces are bound to nine holds. According to prophecy, one owner will rule the world, while the other eight are fated to die. As division and mistrust spread across the realm, Snowrun hands its necklace to a scapegoat. Isolda, a farm girl, now wears its curse. She, alongside the other eight heirs, is cast into the cruelest power struggle. Schemes, dark magic, assassination, and deceit follow her like a shadow. To survive, she hones a keen eye, a cunning tongue, a practical command of magic. She gathers every resource to win the crown. Even so, she finds herself in inescapable peril. Until one day, she hears the voice of the wind.
