When a notification appears on their phones—"Will you play the game?"—twenty people press "Yes." They wake up in a forest teeming with zombies, with no signal, no rules, and no hope. Among them is corporate heiress Yukiko Kagami, accustomed to total control, and a man in a gas mask who calls himself Levi. He doesn't ask for help. He doesn't offer friendship. He throws them instant noodles, threatens them with C4, and dances to anime openings while the others are dying of fear. The System names him Number One. Yukiko calls him her enemy. But as the city descends into chaos and Levi's secrets begin to surface one by one—poisons, hidden blades, C4, bugs, cyanide in his teeth, and plastic explosives under his skin—she begins to understand: he's not just insane. He's the most prepared survivor in this world. And he has chosen her. Survival. Madness. Love. And one question: who would you trust with the key to your collar?
