Kael was taken from his island and thrown into the Outer Sea—an endless ocean swallowed by a shifting veil of mist, where maps fail, compasses lie, and no voyage returns the same. To the world, the Farseekers are heroes who explore the unknown for glory and truth. To Kael, they are simply his captors. Forced to sail through waters that seem almost alive, Kael begins to notice something wrong with the sea itself—it reacts to him in ways it shouldn’t. Watches him. Waits for him. And the deeper he goes, the clearer it becomes: The sea didn’t choose him by accident.
