◆Ranked #3 in JPN fiction!! Thx, *Ice Magic*, which reimagines the Legend of King Arthur as a mystery!

"What in the world is this place...?" Beyond the prison they had escaped from, a residential area awaited them. "It's an alleyway. There's a river flowing behind it." "Ahhh..." "There's no time. We need to decide what to do next." "You and I are their next targets. They know we're dating." "Nighttime is their territory. Stay here until dawn." "W-Wait! What about the car we came in?!" No cars were to be seen anywhere near the police station. "They're the kind of people who could kill two people in one night without any hesitation. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a tracking device in the car...or even if a bomb was attached." "If that's the case... our house is also likely to be in danger..." "...Yes, probably so." Information was insufficient. "When morning comes, go to Arthur's house. Gather as much information as you can there." "This is a map." It was a memo that had been taken from the police station. "It's tough, but... yeah, I'm sure you can solve it." "The east side of the ice games arena..." "It would be quicker to just walk across the venue. Besides, preparations for the match are progressing steadily. Equipment and supplies are scattered all over the place." "It's the perfect place to hide." "And what's more, it's located right in the heart of the village." "Please contact me during the day. Let's meet at the venue." "got it." "Lot, what about you?" "I'm going to look for Arthur and Via's bodies." "Huh? I thought it had already been sent to forensics..." "Yes. But think about it. Blanca is a small village with a population of only 600 people." "There's no forensic department here. The body shouldn't have been moved yet." First and foremost... I haven't seen the body with my own eyes yet. Until I see the truth with my own eyes... ...I can't believe they're dead. "see you." "Lot, be careful!" "you too." He left those words behind, gazed quietly at the river, and then walked back into the darkness of the night.
