Against the World

Despite living in a poor environment in a small village — Qiro and Quer, the adopted child of a farmer and a logger, was deeply loved by their parents, their parents gave them everything they could and made them feel loved. However, a secret denies all odds. As the twin grew older, the attitude their parents has yet to handle, was changing. The two never go out to play nor they talk loudly, instead they stay inside the house, taking care of everyday chores assigned to them and read, the only time they go out is when they help their mother and father when they harvest or cut woods. Years goes by and the two grew to attend an academy in which they passed accidentally, everyone was wary of them thinking that they are only wasting their time as they passed without having their mana tested, however, the two did not pay them any more attention as they themselves didn't care.  Are they really powerless or is it that, they just don't trust anyone yet?, that they don't want to open up, or that they have deep secrets that are yet to share...
