Preserved in forgotten servers, those minds became the foundation of the Ark Project: a desperate attempt to save humanity by turning ancient gamers into immortal machine soldiers. After two thousand years, the Ark has returned to the ruins of the Earth Sphere. Players awaken inside powerful combat automatons known as Revenants, guided by a system that rewards them with loot, upgrades, and new chassis as they battle rogue machine armies still carrying out humanity’s final wartime directives. To the players, it feels like the ultimate game. To the Ark, it is humanity’s final chance at survival.
