The Iconoclast Comes Forth

< Winner of Royal Writathon April 2026 > Poland, 17th century. Irina dies in a pogrom and is transported to the world of Plit'Ar, where sun and night do not move. She is summoned by Mahabi, a vampire industrialist who intends to use her unique "otherworlder" blood to power an arsenal of magical weapons in order to fight the Church of the Sun. Will she outmaneuver the vampires, the religious zealots, and return to her home world? She will certainly try and perhaps will find allies in this weird world of wind-herding warriors, rogue mechanics, and Titans.Special thanks to Greer, Kevin, Rayen, and Tyler from the "UofT Sci-Fi and Fantasy Writing Group" for giving me feedback on the story and material! Write on, dear colleagues!
